Dwight--- oh there is mistakes, a lot!!! Thank you . Garypl--- Thank you. 4-5oz tandy so some may be 6 oz. As far as sitting down, no problem when driving. I worked a heavy duty truck parts counter standing up fo 45 years so I am not a "sitter' -
I had built a belt holster for a 38 revolver . Looks good but does not ride right and prints badly. Decided on a rear pocket style . Ha d a design in mind but what I ended up with was different. It does fit the rear pockets of my pants and does not print so functionally it works. cosmetically, well it works for me. Not problem with it when setting.

Bikermutto7- I found that I have done another one with the same clothes the boy is wearing but the dogs color was mirrored..

Thank you all. I have a house full of these and baseballs. I also take the ice cream sticks and make miniature easels. When I have enough done , they will be displayed at the Library here again. 3rd request from them. Joe

I guess I started out somewhat like everyone else. Book markers Key fobs than on to belts card holders than wallets and maybe holsters and sheaths and baseballs. Big idea to sell them to restock. Ended up with boxes of finished stuff. Right products -workmanship- interest who knows why !! That's when I figured out that I like tooling for the sake of just doing it. That's how I involved to my personal style of leather work. That's what it is all about anyway.

I just finished our much need phone and address book cover. No Smart phone here. We have acquired two Peacocks that were running loose-Gimpy and Speedy, plus 3 red hens our neighbor kids have. They free range. They have names You,You and You The kid has names for them but ,well old age and memory. Luke Hattley is my Mentor , we are about the same age. He has guided me along as far as my skill will let me and my hard head allows. I took a different turn and started doing pictorials .Hope this pleases him.

Snow to the North is Like rain to the South-Lutz Fla_, Clear clean feeling. Kid s play in the rain and kids play in the snow. The best of life. Reasons for the themes I do.

This is on a 4 inch round. The border took a beating. In hand it's not as harsh looking The Kid on the Scoot is on a 4 x6 inch leather. Blending in the different parts of the scene is next to develop.

Well this is the second time I was asked to display at our local Library. The biggest hit is the carved paintings on the easels. I guess that's the direction I am headed . Do love doing them.. Glad to get rid of the gitters from hoping the customer likes what he ordered.

I used a mulefoot. Used a wing divider to size the width and length that set the spacing. Right on. First stike sets the angle of rest.
