This is the start of a theme style I would like to recreate in other items. Painting a mist/fog will be a challenge.

Thank You TonyRV2. Some I sold were too other leather craftsmen and then some to fellow workers that gave them away to their best customers. The Farmers markets did not work out. It was a trip to learn how to do them. Old baseballs changes the shape of the pads. So the two pads were different circumferences. New ones should be the same. Anyway it was all good and still is.

I finely figured that I am not that good at selling leather products. May be my skill level. What I do like is tooling leather and painting. Now I just do the leather rounders for enjoyment. I now try to do what ever gets my attention on them. So with every ones attention on the Clown deal. Figured I give it a go

Modifier. Thanks for the link. not confuse but it's Joe not Luke. "Luke" was a personal reference I tagged on a file I have stored. I do have a set of the chisels. Just trying to find a smaller punched hole. I have done better, much better,so age must be creeping in. -

I am using a sewing Awl. I do the opposite RH underneath on the right side. Thank you for your comment. -
I started making the for my G/kids and their cousins. You would think the sewing would get better but it's going backwards. Left needle goes through first and right needle goes toward left under. Or it's just me whith built in flaws. The name Luke is for reference. Joe Stewart

This is my personal holster. I used Al,s book to outline the gun. The basket weave has a bad spot and the hold down strap is to narrow for the snap. Another problem was the holes for stitching did not go all the way around. there is 3 runs. One long and 2 short runs . I have done better sewing, going backwards threw me off. Contrasting tread colors really made it stand out so when to a brown thread. This is all a big learning curve for me. This is my second holster. The smallest 4 inches by 4 inches

Thank you JL, Never handled the Bulldog. This revolver fits my hands perfect, Balanced feel. I have to look at your site again. That's the style of holster I wanted. Not a Pancake. I have the belt loop tilled . Want to wear on left side. Took a Photo and recreated. This is what I wear. -
There is a lot of missteps here. Than who will see it being worn ? 38 undercover Charter arms. I needed one that's not made of webbing.

It's over You have to wait a while for the next pitch. I have recovered about 1/2 of the teams to cover all bases.

Thank you DS, -
Started this in the 70s than 30 years of life happenings. Retired in 2009 and picked up tooling again. Did the hit and miss thing for a while than stumbled onto this site. What a difference it made. From this site I became friends with Luke Hattley and he has suffered since. there is more than enough knowledge here to get things right. I have seen things that I have done and figured it was fine than see almost the same that others have done similar but better and studied it. Thank you for this site, thanks to Luke Hattley and thanks to masters that mentor to others. Joe Stewart
