They say Michigan gets a little cold up there. So I figure it would be nice to work a version on leather and send it up. 4 inch x 6inch. It does get cold in Lutz and still there is a bunch of people that wave surf around here.

Thank You. The pockets around here seems to be tight around here. The kids will have to deal with them later. The retangulars give me a lot of satification in doing them. The baseballs also because of the challenge in getting the pads right. Again thank you . Joe.

Oh I remember as well.

This is on a 4 in x 6 in leather. This is what I have done so far. I have done quite a few ldifferent ones like this. Enough to fill a 4=3ft x 6 ft 4 shelf display that is mow showing at our Local Library. Those and 15 dollars will buy my kids a cup of coffee when they inherit them.

Going to redo another one and have a Sailor's outline on the Sail.

My interpretation of the painting. It's the enjoyment of Leather work that matters.

Some have memories of being in a Rabbit or Chicken run when they were young. I was one of them. That's the reason I traced the image . Enjoy

Finished. Something is missing. It looks harsh and needs a common connector to smooth out the stand alone look.

I am still working on this as can be seen. A lot can be changed from here. Mountains-change to sunset or keep it like it is or finish up on the rider. See what happens .

From doing a lot of trees. Modling spoon. Edge of it for the saw marks. Blending grey is a problem, a real pain. The blue comes out.

The picture this came from caught my eye .It kind of reminded me of my mentor. There are a few things that went wrong. I still finish them anyway. So tit is what it is.

Well there are a few things that went South. The stone fence-did not intend to be that colorful. Had to paint over shirt with white. Light blue was to sharp. Still working on it.

I am caught !! I did not inherit the skills My Mom had. I do copy and paste a lot of images off Google. Two or three at a time to create a theme. Some times I printout two different scenes, trace each one and combine them into one scene. Like now I am doing a boy fishing off a doc into a pond. That's one image taken from a picture. Cropped lily pads and enlarged from same picture and traced . Combined on a 4 inch round and added my style of trees. So I am am a copiest and not an artist. So without Google images I would not have the relaxing effect of working with leather or satisfy the creative urge . I do not sell these but have given out to people that go beyond there responsibilities. I am not a leather craftsman cause I make a mess of holsters. sheathes and belts..etc.. Than again I am not an artist. I just have fun. Joe S.

Yes. Better than I thought. I am right handed and its in my left rear pocket grip facing rearward . It's not a clumsy draw. Am thinking about adding a safety strap do belive it should need one.
