  2. I like that Looks like I'm the only one without a swivel beveler I'll have to sort one out.
  3. Yep, I deserved that If you can do that with a migraine, I've gotta find out how to get a migraine
  4. Your right, she does rule, she's done a tidy job on that for ya. No matter how I put this it's gonna sound all wrong.... If you used your wife to color it, doesn't that make your wife a tool???? Which means you broke the rule's and used 4 I'll wait for the

Some great looking sheaths you have there Is that a stacked leather handle on this knife??
  6. That's a 'Celtic Pile of String' not a 'Celtic Knot'
  7. LOL Keep that stuff away from me, it might be catching.
  8. Knots are not that bad, only really one rule ya need to follow. They go over one, under one, over one, under one, over one, under one, over one, under one & repeat until you get to the end
  9. Damn, this one falls just outside the rules, swivel knife, 2 boarder stamps and a hair tool. WHY did I use that hair tool???? It's 18" or 455mm in diameter. Now I have a dilemma...................
  10. I guess I won't be doing the one below then. Can't see a way of doing it will only 3 tools. That is, if I read the rules right
  11. not much else I can say that those above haven't said already
  12. Not quite how I pictured it, but that looks a lot better than the 'original' plan. Excellent job, looking forward to seeing the wallets now
  13. The knowledge available in the LW Forum is second to none, you can't beat it Oh yes, and that 'F' is looking sweet now it's got a bit of colour too it
  14. I think (hope) he's gonna surprise us.....
  15. It's called Duraglit, knew I'd remember it
  16. You used to be able to get a tin with something like cotton wool in it that was impregnated with a Brasso type polish. Saves you getting the polish in places you don't want it to be. I used a lot of it polishing horse brasses etc. Local hardware shop should have it. I used to give them a coat of Renaissance Wax after polishing to stop them tarnishing so quick. Hope that helps
  17. Funny the things you spot, it was the tuft of stray fur on top of one ear that drew my eye. That cat certainly POPS now there's some color on him. Good idea to start the other panel now, not only beaks it up for you, but gives us more to look at. And the blade of that straight razor is calling out to be gilded with silver leaf
  18. PM sent
  19. There's an idea......... Chancey, have you got many pics of that 'Inspectors car'? and/or others like it? I'm feeling ALL creative
