Asking another opinion. I want to make an Indiana Jones style travel/day bag with left outside pocket for balloons and right outside pocket for Large water bottle. front of strap will be wide enough for cell phone, passport and pens/sharpies. What weight leather might you suggest? Thought about using a pre finished hid...e, got nice black one in a recent Tandy sale but thought it might be too light and cannot carve it. also thought about glueing parts of it instead of stiching, especialy in tight courners. What do you think? In a multitude of councilors one finds wisdom.

May I ask how you colored them? I have been using sharpies.

love the 2 color stiching. NOOB here. so did you trace the letters and fill? they do not look like stamps.

grand, simply grand, I am NOT that far along. So how does one do the letters. Google a patern and hope for the best?
