Thank You 50! WOW! What a great compliment!! I was taught to split the thread.as it is all done by hand. I don't own a machine... and the larger holes were because originally the holster was going to be laced down the edge. But the only punch I have that does 4 holes is a charly cheapy.. The larger holes on the purse will be laced together eventually. I need to order lace but am waiting on finances.. UGH! -
Two Holsters and Front and back of a leather purse.. thats need to be laced together.. Will send more pics later.

These are woolie saddle bags. This is the carving that goes over the back of your saddle. The Woolie leather was an old coat that we scammed from a thrift store.© © leatherworker.net

The spots are on a red chap leather that was glued and sewn to the 6/7 oz leather, I had a round steel punch that was broken I had a guy clean it up for me its a little bit more of an arc than just half . almost shaped like a C.that is how I made the scallops. I usually have to cut one leg of the spots off and fold it over.

I am in the process of looking at buying a sewing machine... I am still sifting through all the info here. Thanks for the info.. Hugs Helda.. aka Nihla
