I am a Westerner born on a ranch west of the Missouri in SD on a Native American Reservation. I now live in eastern SD with my wife & family. I like to sew most anything heavy; leather, canvas and what-not. I had a leather shop for a couple of years but never made a go of it but still make things for family & friends. I am entertaining the idea of beginning to repair harness & other tack.

Mostly what I do now is build canvas and leather back-packs, ruck-sacks, possibles bags & repair a lot of cover-alls putting leg zippers in and stuff.

I just like to sew . . .it's kinda like whiskey . . . .hard to quit!!!
