    Making spur straps with my new template from Black River Laser..that's my new favorite tool! Love it!!!

    Bought some waxed thread from Tandy..attempted to use it, and got so mad I threw stitching pony and all! Now I need a new pony :) Most expensive project ever!!

      In an effort to save a such as you can on this , take a piece of paper bag fold it over the the thread you are going to use, squeeze hard and rub it up and down a couple of times to get rid of the excess wax and burnish the thread some. This should help, some.

      Well, I put a clamp on the pony for now, so I can still use it. Thanks for the idea Bob, I think my passing hissy fit is over now, so I'll give that a try tonight :)
