I want to do a belt with this mexican braid in the middle and a mexican round braid on the edge. Thanks to Chiefs video I can do the edge, but how do I do the flat mexican braid in the middle. Here is the only video I can find but does not show how to start or finish. If anyone has a video or a tutorial, could you point me in the right direction. Thanks this turly is a great forum.

When I was 8 and 9 years old I use to go next door and learn leather work from an old man one night a week. The old man made belts and wallets, hand carve and stitch them. Now I'm 55 years old and trying to remember what he taught me many years ago. Thanks to this site it is coming back as I read day after day. Now I just need a lot of practise and more time, work keeps getting in the way of progress. Thanks for all ya'lls help.
