    Just wondering how to get the cleanest, neatest edge dye possible. Right now Im loving the oil dye I use, but have been dying with a wool dauber after burnishing. I am wondering if there is a way to get a neater edge dye, as the wool dauber doesn't always allow for the most uniform edge dying. Any tips or ideas? Thanks!

    So I happened to stumble upon a Singer 457 sewing machine at a thrift store for 10 bucks. It works great. I was wondering if it will go through Horween leather as it's really soft?

    So I have been having some issues getting my stitches rounded around corners. Any tips on doing this or the way this is accomplished? As of right now I'm using a stitching groover, an overstitch wheel and a 4 prong chisel. An example of what I am shooting for is below. My stitches just end up squared Id like to have something like this:

    I am new to leather working, and have been having a lot of issues figuring out what weight of leather to use for various projects. Anyone know what weight this is?

    I just ordered some Horween leather, and Im very excited to use it. One of the first projects I want to do with it is making a slim billfold similar to the one below. Does ANYONE have a printable template for something like this? Ive been looking everywhere and can't seem to find a printable one!     So I'm looking for a template to make a sunglasses case, however out of one piece of leather. I made a case last night with two pieces, and wasn't all that fond of it. I have attached a picture below of what Im looking for, and just wondering if anyone had a template for the one piece design.

    I am looking for a printable belt template. For an 1 1/2" belt, with an english point and 9 hole spacing system. Anyone have one or know where I can get one? I am a little strapped for cash, otherwise I would just order one from Black River Laser.

    I have a project I am going to attempt soon, and I am new to leather working. I was curious what type of tool this is and the name of it? It was use to channel leather, similar to an edge beveler but in the middle of the leather rather than the edges.

I purchased some 5-6 oz. leather in hopes of making this very durable. It seems far too thick now that Ive tried it. Any tips or advice to get this project accomplished would help thank you!
