  1. To meet the demand with my holsters, I average 10 to 20 hours a week. This fall it has been harder due to an outside project that needed to get done and head to the cabin a couple weekends a month.
  2. Very cool site and unique kilts. Welcome from another new guy. :D
  3. I generally wet the leather and hand form the two pieces to get the appropriate shape and then stitch. Lastly hot wet form around the gun or form and then finish boning.
  4. Here is where I pick my Blue or ASP forms. Best price in town. http://www.elitetacticalsources.com/onlinestore.htm
  5. The easyest way to cut 8-9 oz holster leather is either with good shears or simple 69 cent snap off 3/8 inch blade. Easy to cut curved shapes due to the flexible nature of the blade but is strong and sharp enough to do the job. Give it a try.
  6. Good looking holster and very functional. Snap holsters are great for left side carry.
  7. Hi all, I joined up on recommendations from Bruce Gibson because, "All my holster and leather questions will be answered!" I thought, "Wow, Bruce has never given me bad advice!" So here I am. I have been creating holsters and working with leather for 7 months (yep a newby I'm sure here). I have made good progress and things are progressing well with a learning and secondary business. I look forward to learning and joining in. In my signature is my website for Side Guard Holsters so take a couple of minutes and take a look. Thanks,
