  1. here is a tool for cutting circles. In is supposed to work on leather too. I bought one about two years ago but not sure if it is the same brand. It looks similar though. http://m.misterart.com/tools/paper-trimmers/lion-ev-r-round-circle-cutter.html Hope this helps.
  2. Thanks for the info. I have made a couple for a friend of mine as practice and he likes them about 5 oz. he thinks the thicker ones are too stiff and do not form to his shoulder. Since he wanted something soft I made one out of 5-6 oz Latigo as a joke and he loved it. Go figure.
  3. Nice job. Let me know how the clips work. I have not had good luck with them. They do look good though.
  4. I agree with Cheryl. But I do watch you videos on braiding. Over and over and over. What weight leather did you use for your guitar strap?
  5. Nothing wrong with letting your imagination lead you down a new path. I like what you have done. Keep the imagination going and show us where it leads you. Thank you for sharing. JR
  6. Pounder, I have been to the Indy store (while on a business trip there) and must agree with you. The staff in the store was much less helpful than the other Tandy store I have visited. I live in southern Indiana and the Tandy store I get some of my stuff from is in Louisville. This store is an hour closer than the one in Indy. There is a world of difference between the stores. The staff at the Louisville store is very helpful and I think they have better quality for the same leather items. Not sure if this is due to their volume or what. The Louisville store is at least twice the size and maybe closer to 2.5-3 times the size. May be why they have a larger/better selection. THEFANNINATOR (Chris), THANK YOU FOR POSTING THE WEB ADDRESSES OF SUPPLIER SITES FOR US. Thank you all for sharing the information and your talents. I know I have learned a lot from the posts here. Keep it up!!! I need all the help I can get. Also, please try to frequent the sponsors of this website as much as possible. They are sponsors for a reason and I do not remember seeing Tandy as being one of those. JR
