Thanks for the warm welcomes. Went to my local Tandy store today, they have a ton of stuff, didn't know what to get so I picked up some practice pieces and remnants, let's see how it goes.

Hello everybody I live in Cloverdale, a suburb of vancouver. I am a cub leader and am looking to make some slick knife sheaths and outdoor equipment. Mostly leather but may dive into some of the thermoplastics like kydex. I ride and was thinking I may want to do a set of chaps or possible vest, wallet, you know most likely the usual stuff every newb wants to make. I am as green as they come in leather but have made a ton of othe little projects of varrying difficulty. Automotive tech by trade and was thinking I just need another addiction in my life to squeeze the funds out of my wallet. Lol.
