I have had numerous problems with S-T also. Every time that I call an order in, the first thing that the lady asks me is my customer number. I guess she uses a person's zip code for the customer number, which I have never understood. Then the next question is what is my credit card number. I tell her that I am not giving my credit card number until I am done. I then give her the part number. One time I gave her the wrong part number and she told me very bluntly that it was the wrong number. Another time I was called that I gave her the wrong credit card number, which I did not and she was very upset with me. Also there was a time that I ordered an item and it was always out of stock. I questioned her about it and asked me what I ordered it for. I told her that it is in your catalog and you should have it in stock. The item finally came a few weeks later. I have ordered leather from them and had bad results. I do order a few items which they have cheaper than other places and have received them in excellent shape. I try to be nice to the lady but she is very irritating. I know other people that have quit ordering from them because of her. Allan

Thank you for your nice comments! I applied Super Shene on the edge and the pattern with two coats. This was then left to dry for a few hours. Next a stain was applied overall with the stain only penetrating what was not finished. It did penetrate the stamp impressions. I hope this helped you. Allan

Although I do mainly stamping, I also like to do carving. This is a billfold with a traditional carving pattern. I resisted Jimmy and then applied the finish. The second picture is the liner which I cut out. Allan

This is a tutorial for a stamped belt using six stamps. After you have sized the belt draw a line on the center. Start stamping with a geometric stamp G9008-03 or a similar stamp. Always start from the end which the buckle holes will be punched (Billet End). The next stamp used is a veiner V406 which is stamped between the points of G9008-03. A border stamp D637 is stamped by filling in the center both sides. The next stamp is a figure carving stamp F922 which is stamped above D637. A seeder S932 is stamped between the veiner impressions. The last stamp is S360 stamped in the center of the pattern. This is the completed stamped belt. You can use a variety of stamps when stamping a design. Have fun stamping! Allan Scheiderer

Hi Bob, Thank you for the compliments. On the two tone finish, I applied Super Shene around the border and let it dry, then apply another coat. Usually I let this dry overnight. Then I applied Hi Lite over the entire piece, the Hi Lite only penetrated the stamped area. Take a damp paper towel and remove the excess. Let it dry, then apply a final finish. I hope this helped you. Allan -

Attached are two pictures of the Craftool 102 1/2 stamp. The first shows the stamp upright with an impression piece on the right. The other picture is the stamp laying down. The handle is blue do to the previous owner that made the stamps identifiable. I hope this helps! Allan

Attached are two Checkbook Covers one carved and one stamped. Also the third attachment shows the isides. I cut everthing from scratched including the back, linning, and pockets. Also I include a tab at the top to hold the check register page. Although I do mainly stamping, I also do carving. Both the carved and stamped covers are a two tone finish which really makes the patterns stand out. I did the double loop stitch on both. I hope you like them. Allan www.alsleather.com
