  2. Ok I'm not so sure this is worthy of being in the "Showoff" Forum but it means a lot to me. I tried posting on the Critique Forum but the pics are HUGE!!!! I think I got them reduced. This is a Back rest Pad I made for my Motorcycle. This Bike belonged to my Father but had some "safety" issues so i was repairing it for him. Well on Fathers Day 2005 My Dad came by wanting to take a ride so I loaned him my Bike since I was'nt finished with his yet. My Father crashed and was Killed within minutes of leaving my House, still within view as a matter of fact. So enough of that please let me know what you PROS on here think about the Backrest and what I should"ve done different or what You would've done if you made it. Please be honest

  6. From what I can see, It looks great! Woodgrain done well. I used to dye everything black myself, However a Med. or Dark Brown will bring that beautiful tooling out for all to see and appreciate. Good Job.

  11. Well this is a Split Tank. Two Separate pieces. So the rivits are not touching any part of the the tanks. There is a space between the two tanks. I will post more pics after I braid.

  16. Hi everyone. I'm fairly new at this and I was wondering if any of you experts out there could possibly give me some direction and input. I want to cover my Backrest ands brake/clutch levers with a leather braid. Here is a picture of what I'm refering to.
  17. Hello, I am trying to braid around my brake and clutch levers on my Motorcycle. I am fairly new at leather working and any information from the highly skilled and talented folks on here would be greatly appreciated. Heres a picture of what I am referring to. After I tackle the levers I would like to try to do my Sissybar/Backrest.
