Corners - natural colour + Tan-Kote + antique gel.
Tan-Kote is colored by gel, but still not a "messy".
So, try the different ways, and you will get the best one for you.
Well...
Some practice issues. Fiebing's oil dye (dark brown and deluted saddle tan) + mink oil + Super Shene + antique paste + Super Shene again. You can see natural colour of the leather.
(Sorry, see no way how to add many pictures with comments right now)
Try Super Shene instead. It seems, it has better blocking against antique gel compared to resolene.
P.S. Another good choice for antique paste is Tan-Kote. But Super Shene seems to be better.
Also 1st type snap buttons should be 12.5 mm diam. or more (last four on the photo from a glance). Less ones are more suitable for cloth or very thin and soft leather (gloves e.g.)
This backpack seems to be more suitable for man's cave stuff . I like it. However ideal and shining buckles etc. seems to be not too suitable for rustik style, sorry. Maybe "fusion" would be better?
Everything is good in its season. I really like these items with raw edges (maybe except of dog's hat) on chemical tanned leather. But, of course, on veg tan leather, finished edges would be pretty better than raw ones. Sorry.
Ну, в общем, да. Есть в этих необработанных краях свой шарм. Хотя одна только надпись "сумка может содержать алкоголь" делает проблему урезов вообще непринципиальной . 6 баллов из 5 за неё
