I have a 2" it goes slow but I want it even slower so I guess I will have to use a lathe and make one or get a reducer setup.

Has anyone changed the pulley on the head of a Seiko CW8B machine. I am looking to put a larger pulley on it. This machine is the same as a Techsew 2700. I am asking for this info before hitting the machine shop and making one.

Pfaff 145-H3-6/01 CLMNP $650.00 plus shipping (est $100.00) This 145 is in good working condition. I don't ship tables anymore because of trouble packing and cost of shipping. You are better buying new table, motor of you choice and reduction setup (if needed) from eBay. Machine located in Northwest New Jersey. I can pack and ship by UPS. Any question contact me. Note red plastic on top of machine is missing does not effect oiling.

Hi Gregg, I have several machines, Pfaff 138, 145, 433, and 463 Old style ( Pfaff tells me the pulleys and belt are different from newer models. Can't find replacement belts for this model. Thanks for any help you can give me on this subject. Dan

Hi Everyone, Are there any Pfaff manuals that go into depth on how to repair these industrial machines? I have searched the web but did not come up with anything. I have managed to repair some odd problems without them but it takes a lot of time and patience. Any help would be gratefully welcomed. Thanks Dan

From what I see in the above photos there is an alignment issue and belt is rubbing. I have my pulleys reversed with large to left and small to right. No alignment issues. The is enough play in motor mounts that a small adjustment can be made. Look in gallery I put photos there. Dan

You can get them on eBay. There are two different type that are popular. First is the one seen here which has three pulleys, the second which I use is a little harder to adjust belt tension but you can change pulley sizes to get even a slower speed. You would have to make spacers if you go over an 8" pulley. First type was $167.50 and second $215.00 shipping included on both.

From what I have seen part can be found for both machines. I have a 29-4 and a 29K71 and I am able to lookup parts for both.

If you are looking for a $100-$200 machine this is not for you. This machine is a working machine with normal wear for its age. The one photo shows it sewing through a thick old hard leather belt. I can come down a little on the price but not much. If you have checked out ebay and craigslist you will see that this machine is in the normal range for price. This on comes with threading rod, some needles and a new belt. The cheaper machines I have seen are missing parts, rusted or broken. There is one for $150 in the area on craigslist in the Hudson Valley section and if you look close you will see the hand wheel is not attached, it has a broken shaft. It's your money so you decide if it worth it to you. These machines are great for what they were designed to do, patching.
