  1. He sure was Art. His Mother lead the horse on a lead rope tied to the horn of her saddle and I rode on the other side to make sure all went well. It did and we were all so happy about it. Thankyou, I ran out of diamonds making this. I am needing more but have to have stainless steel ones. Know anywhere that has them, bwsides weaver? I get most of my stuff from weaver but am rethinking alot of things now that I joined here. I ordered a couple of things off of the studs & spike site that you or someone posted. Such good prices, but are the steel things there stainless steel? I need to ask them.

  2. A Friend of mine needed one to match the Vintage Parade Saddle her Uncle gave her for her Son. The one on the left.

This is how she wanted it and although I had never taken on such a project I think it turned out ok. Everyone loved it. I always use a breast collar that just goes straight across like this. I'm not fond of the ones that have the strap between the legs as I have had a horse get rubbed raw on a long trail ride in the past. I don't have trouble with this type.

Her Son is Autistic and was so proud to be in the parade with us. She told him before hand what it was all about, so he saluted for the pic. It fit this smaller arab just fine. Fun was had by all! Maybe sometime I'll show a pic of my mare & I in the parade, but I'm abit shy. Lol..

  3. Thanks grunt. I have made a few belts and used decorative rapid rivets. I have regular and decorative chicago screws thought so may try that. I mostly make dog collars {spike or whatever someone wants} & horse tack. I'll have to post a pic of the parade breast collar I made to match a friend's vintage parade saddle. I'll put it in the show your work off section I guess. I also re-fleeced that saddle with real shearling golden fleece. I had never done that before and although it wasn't perfect, it worked well. Watch for the pic. Her son is about 9 I think and autistic. He was so proud to be in the parade with us.

  4. Sorry art. I didn't see that you had replied here. On the tag on this it is stamped 108WSV37 so possibly 108W37? I was told this is like the 108U, a newer version of this?

I got sick again after the crash and didn't get back here. So haven't done anything about even getting this going. I still need to get a motor, decide what belt goes with it, etc. It has a tiny belt area. How will I work it in conjubtion with the wheel on the motor? I'm abit new to having to find this all myself. I normally buy the machine with everything with them. Here it is.
