  1. EXTREMELY sharp, holds an edge for a long time which is nice since you don't have strop. It doesn't even really need to be sharpened. Interested in purchasing?
  2. The pictures don't look that good resized either, can you email for the pictures please. Price is not set but I'd say like $180, these are much better than the current batches the first two generations he made are hands down the highest quality and best edge. I've sold a few things on here like pricking irons and fileteuse creasing machine
  3. Can you DM or email me? The files are too big. Justinurra.opg@gmail.com
  4. Hey guys I have an original Chartermade skiving knife from the 2nd batch made, these are WAY better than any of the new ones. Sharper and holds an edge WAY longer...make me a REASONABLE offer, no low ballers. I may throw in free shipping if it's not too expensive
  5. Selling my dual handle Regad M6000 with two wood handles and and two wood handle holders $850 firm plus shipping, US plug and no tips I have plenty of pics, theyre just too large to upload
  6. 6 coats?! I use Fenice plus 3 coats, heat, and sand and looks as good it not better than Hermes...alot of their edges are trash..sewing too these days. It may be your technique and not the edge paint. I also use uniters at times and only takes 3 coats max...3 layers is on stuff that's 4 to 5 layers...someyhings only need 3 in order to be seamless. Make sure your edge is flawless before painting
  7. Yes they're still available! Yea I work with a 2 handle Regad, I had bought this to mark my stitch line on exotics but realized I needed an F3.5 instead which I now use along with the FN2, FN2C and FN2R
  8. Hey guys, moving into sewing with a machine that has an off axis needle to create the look of a saddle stitch so I'm selling my Atelier De Sol pricking irons in #10 size, the cost me about $220 so I'll let them go for $160 firm, it's a set of a 12 tooth and 2 tooth iron, these irons are SICK! I never had to use an all once with these babies! And if I considered it I just went over with the 2 tooth with is like a punchanle 2 tooth all, it's honestly the shit, they have a great weight in the hand and look beautiful too! Free shipping. These are great for people who aren't too keen on awls or just flat out tired of using them, creates a beautiful and perfect back stitch too, I have plenty of sewing examples I can send you, the make a slant slit stitch hole for the classic zig-zag saddle stitch. I also have a barely used Regad F3 fileteuse tip for a firm $80
  9. Hello fellow leather workers, Ive gotten to the point where I'm now ditching the T slot design and moving to full slots to have a more luxurious product that doesn't ever get gaps between card slots...how do I do it so the edges don't get crazy bulkyou? Here's some details on what's being used 1: 1st V slot is .5mm gator lined with .4mm lamb 2: Card slots are .5mm chevre sully lined with .4mm lamb 3: total thickness of working pieces are 9mm Yes I know this is thin but I keep my items very thin a very luxury
  10. This is a real legit Regad F3 tip used about 4 times, as you can see its mint and brand new with nothing on it, changed my sewing line so I don't need this...buying an F3.5 tip instead.
  11. Ditch the Vernis, it's not really meant to give you the seamless rounded look which is why after 6 coats it's still not perfect Fenice Plus...if you start with a perfect flush edge then 3 coats will do it 4 or 5 heat setting
  12. Just like the title says, do I lay on top and sew or does it have to be wet formed, it would be gator
  13. Punch your holes on the body and gusset separately at the same starting length then match up and sew up, don't waste monet on gimmicks when you already have the necessary tools.
  14. This is a real legit Regad F3 tip used about 4 times, as you can see its mint and brand new with nothing on it, changed my sewing line so I don't need this...buying an F5 tip instead.
  15. I exclusively use Chevre Sully at 1mm which I feel would be fine vs something like a Horween, keep in mind the sides would be hand saddle stitched which would take a great deal of the pressure off the the fabric that's only glued to the credit card slit. If Hermes and LV can do it with the same exact leather I'm pretty sure we most likely can too. I was going to make a card holder for myself in this style for myself to test it out
  16. I hear weldwood will hold the fabric worry free...the fabric will rip before the bond breaks...I may use this technique for full exotic wallets
  17. Im an extreme perfectionist and cant seem to find the sweet spot in the T slot height for a #10 pricking iron that will allow me to have a beautiful continuous and consistent perfect stitch line where each split between T slots are right between the teeth of the #10 pricking iron, I was going to order like 3 different T slots from makesupply to see which height works..any input? also when I say height I mean the just the tabs on the side that get stacked...not the height of the whole T slot.

  19. So I'm selling a fileteuse machine, it's actually Janik wood burner but I believe it's just a rebranded regad unit to sell in a different market as it has all the same specs and temps as a Regad unit..it's even made in France and accepts two handles and accepts Regad handles! Here's the kicker I'm even throwing in a brand new F3 tip! price is $250...in the pictures I've attached creases it made on ostrich and chevre sully with my FN2 tip Also! I'm selling a brand new set of European style pricking irons that make slanted marks, these along with a daimond awl will give you the beautiful iconic zigzag saddle stitch price is $100 These are great prices and firm! Just these two tools alone will step up your leather work by leaps and bounds! I can send more pics via a message, I have pics of the electric specs and where it says made in France right on it, I can send pics of my beautiful work I've done with these tools too...I just bought a new different unit and selling this to buy more regad tips and I just had custom pricking irons made that don't require an awl so I'm selling these.

  21. These are made by beagle in Asia and I paid $150, they don't sell them on ebay or etsy and they're much thicker than those as I've had both. I had custom pricking irons made for me for around $300 so I don't need these
