  1. Thanks all for the nice words. They are greatly appreciated. Rosiart...A trippin' collar is a breast collar that theoretically is used for the steer roping or tripping. However, a lot of people use them instead of a 3 piece breast collar for any type of roping.
  2. Here's the 1st of 7 trippin' collars this customer ordered. This was the first trippin' collar I've made, and as usual, I learned some things I'll do differently on the others. At any rate, I was happy with how the first one turned out. I'm going to try to talk the customer into using red dye for the logo on a couple of them. The red matches their website, but he wanted white for the first one. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking, and continue to be blessed.
  3. Here's the second order of this pattern. I posted the first pic here and on my FB page and go this order. Then, a day later, I got another order for the same thing. Maybe I've stumbled onto something with this pattern. Anyway, have a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking and stay blessed.
  4. Here's the latest out the door before I hit the road to announce the rodeo in Oakley, UT. This is a new pattern I developed. Take a look and let me know what you think. I'm really pleased with the way it turned out. I can tell you though...I was WAY nervous about all of that black dye. I had visions of it running all over when I put the resist on. Thankfully, the dye all stayed put. Anyway, thanks for looking, and have a safe holiday. Be blessed gang.
  5. Thanks folks for the compliments. I truly appreciate them.
  6. This is the second set of camp stools for this customer. They liked the first set so well, they ordered the second set the day they picked up the first set. This time around, they decided on floral corners rather than just the plain set from the first time. Anyway, take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking and stay blessed.
  7. Thanks for the compliments. I really appreciate them. Dink...just let me know. I'd be happy to get you on the books for one. Stay blessed all.
  8. Here's the next one out the door. Turned out pretty slick I think. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking, and stay blessed.
  9. Point well taken PC. I guess if I'm going to be in the biz, I should learn the language.
  10. Thanks gang. I appreciate the kind words. Now, if the customer likes it, I'll feel like I did my job...LOL.
  11. Another order done. This one is headed to Canada...my first international order!! I call it a half breed because it's half basket stamp and half floral. I hope the customer likes it. I was pretty happy with how it turned out. Take a look and let me know what you think. Thanks for looking and stay blessed.
  12. Had an ol' bronc rider say one time that when he died he wanted his hide tanned and made into a barrel racing saddle so he could spend eternity between the two things he loved the most....a good horse and a beautiful woman...LOL.
  13. Here's the latest from the shop. The customer wanted a matching pair of camp stools and bronc halters for trail rides. They're very plain and simple, but turned out looking pretty nice. The customer picked them up yesterday, and liked them so much, they ordered another pair of stools. The next pair she said she wanted to use at their house around the fire pit. Since the next pair is for home, she said she wanted the corners tooled. Yesterday was a good day. She pre-paid the next two stools, got an order for a belt, and 90% chance of a briefcase order also. Anyway, thanks for looking and stay blessed.
  14. Very nice. I'd say for all the firsts, you knocked this outta the park. Nicely done.
  15. Very cool Tina. I've never seen something like that. Excellent work.
  16. LOL Eglide....I'm sure you're tooling can't be that bad! Mine still isn't to the level I want it to be, but it's getting there. Bondo....thanks for the nice words. They're appreciated.
  17. Thanks ya'll. They shipped yesterday, so we'll see what the customer thinks when he gets them.
  18. Thank you. The customer came by and picked it up last evening, and was very happy with it. Thanks again for the nice words.
  19. Here's the latest off the bench. I liked how it turned out. I wasn't sure about the turquoise flower centers when the customer ordered it, but when it was done, I was pleasantly surprised. Take a look and let me know what you think. Forgive the bad pic. Must not have had a fresh chew of Copenhagen in. Looks a bit shaky...LOL. Stay blessed.
  20. One more order out the door. The customer wanted a floral breast collar for the one horse, and a floral one ear headstall for the other. This was the first time I'd made a breast collar, and as always, I learned some things that will be different the next time around. All in all though, I was pleased how they turned out. Take a look and let me know what you think. Stay blessed gang.
  21. Dadgum......whether it's an Underbust Holster or Harness, it is definitely in action. I'm wondering if I shouldn't look into the Ren Faire stuff a bit further...LOL. BTW, nice work.
  22. Man....I'm losing it. Used to be able to post projects without a hitch. Now I'm stumbling around like a one-legged man at a polka party...LOL.
