  1. For your first project it turned out real nice. One of a kind m/c bag, that doesn't look like other Harley bags. The Harley is nice, too!
  2. I've been viewing the forum for several years and finally joined a few weeks ago. I'm 63 and live in western PA. Growing up on a farm, I've always been around leather. We had horses, so I took care of the saddles and related riggings. Living fairly close to a couple of Amish harness shops, I had access to a good source of leather, hardware and the wealth of knowledge of the shop owners. I've always liked the western cowboy, Native American and the early 1800's fur trapper styles, all of which have influenced my own leathercrafting style. I enjoy making knives, belts, wallets and a vast array of other items and have posted some of my stuff In the Show Off section. Below are some pics of leather that I incorporated in my pick-up truck. Really enjoy the forum and hello to everyone.
  3. Real nice bag. The stitching color really sets it off. Good job!
  4. I take pride in designing my own projects. I like mixing media, as shown in the last 2 sheaths. As for the last pic, the mini-hide stretcher, made from scrap and a branch. It is 1 foot square. The greenish inlay is camo material.
  5. Here is some of my other stuff. The last pic is done from scrap leather. The pics could be better, but I'm still learning photography.
  6. Really like the design and the colors. Very nice job!
  7. Thanks for the favorable comments. Alpha2 : I made my old wallet 11 years ago and the corners of the credit cards were sticking out and starting to wear, so I thought this would be a good time to make a new one! I kept it that long, because after awhile the wallet conforms to the shape of your butt. It's comfortable, does the job and you don't even know it's there. When I get a chance, I'll post some of my other stuff.
  8. I just joined a couple of weeks ago, but have been visiting the forum for years. Great forum! Here's a wallet I just finished. It will be my personal wallet and replace the old one, which was completely worn out.
