Welcome to the forum fron Iredell county! That is some fine work!

I haven't ordered from them yet either. The conchos are the main reason I asked for a catalogue myself.

Thanks for the responce Bobby. I am trying to learn how this type of sporran is made. Do you glue and sew the gusset in place before you put the binding on? I have always made my sporrans with a soft bag and turned the seams to the inside. I really want to learn how to do it like the one in the picture. Thanks again, Donnie

Can anyone out there tell me how to do this edge binding and keep it tight? Tips? tricks? Help!!

Thanks folks, I have been doing the small brush, just that sometimes I get too much dye in it. The sharpie for small areas sounds very interesting! Thanks again Donnie

Is there any way to achieve a black background like this, other than hand painting? BTW, Hidepounder, this belt is beautiful! http://leatherworker.net/forum/uploads/1260314920/gallery_7682_9_103115.jpg I have trouble with the tiny places and a paint brush. The dye seems to have a mind of it's own and I have trouble getting it into the tiny corners. I am persently using Fiebings Black leather stain. Thanks in advance for any help Donnie

I have had an inquriy about making a sporran with a slip holster for a Sig P239. I haven't learned to mold well yet and don't have a blue gun for that weapon anyway. Is there someone out there that will be willing to make me the molded half? PM me if you will with a price! Thanks Donnie

JD, I had to take a look at that sporran again! There is absolutly nuthing wrong with the knot closure! Did you put a gussett in the bag? What is the size? Me likee!

That is one of the finest fur sporrans I have seen! Very nice work!

I just bit the bullet and bought a Cobra Class 18. All I have ever used was an old singer home machine. WOW, at the difference. I am totally happy. I beleive that this is the best investment in my business I have ever made. I called and pestered Steve at Leather Machines a couple of times. He was GREAT every time I talked to him. I purchased the machine from Zach Whites. They were GREAT with their help in making sure I knew how to thread and operate the machine, even though (in my jonesing) I called every couple of days asking when it would be in. Thank you to both of them.

Man. I do love good haggis! I have made my own before.

Those of you who do custom work. What ratio of inquiries for pricing to actual payment for work do you get. I seem to be doing a lot of quotes that don't follow through with a commission lately.

Thats pretty cool, the coffee dye job is unusual and is a very nice color. -
Definately artistic!
