thank you all for taking the time to answer! Ive been googeling like a maniac så ill take the advise to cave in to tandy pattern and try to adjust it the way i want.. Ill keep you posted if i manage to put them together!

And now i got an order for 3 pairs of chaps... And I feel that its a compleate different story. How come its nothing out there to bye exept for tandys chap patterns. They feel kind of out of style. Any ideas anyone? I live in sweden so there is no way to just go in a store to look at them...

yes! i just put in the cheek pieces coz im not ready with the noseband, and here is the other ready piece

this goes on the sides and attach to the bit.

Im doing an english headstall rigt now, i will post it as soon as possible! just finishing the noseband ( is it called that?).

its just a plain collar, nothing fancy at all but it was really fun to do. Its made out of a black coated leather så it made the lettres stand out (or in , depends on the point of view)

Its made out of white leather, 3mm. handstiched. I tried to talk them out of getting a white dog collar, i was afraid it would be dirty before it even was put on the dog!

Its a 3 year long course and the only one here in scandinavia. It could really do whith a really good teacher in craftmanship( is it called that, tooling and carving) since its a school of scandinavian tradition and we never really carved in leather to make pictures,patterns and braiding the way you do over seas. So we learn to make harness and driving gear and some saddlemakeing and repairs. indeed it is! I was hopeing others would share the same sort of ideas that just pop up when u need them, -like what do you do if you forgot your creaser? I took one of my kitchen knifes with s soft round end, heated it on an candle and bobs your uncle!

im in school learning leather, and i took work home thinking i would do some serious finish on my belt. I found myself forgetting my polishing bone at school. I got a dog she got a big shewed old bone laying on the floor and you know what i got this brilliant shine now i just got to tell someone! ( i put on gelatin first) /i

tnx luke! it looks really nice on, and im so proud of it. i was going to do it on a machine but then the studs are to close to the edge so it wasnt possible. so the extra bother makes me like it more!

i dont even know what the different kind of leather is called in english! my translate program doesnt agree with me. So here it goes, 3mm flat leather handstitched whith a lining of plymo. Make sence? didnt think so anyways here it is, tell me what you think!
