My uses are. Well I have horses, so tack for sure. Also I make custom knives. And need sheaths for them. Also western gunbelts and holsters. I might make some nice computer cases and luggage type bags as well. It kinda opened up a whole new range of projects.

Yes I got the techsew smart servo motor with it also. Although mine is 800 watts and I’m having trouble finding a link for it. I got a lot of learning to do now. My winder has a pin sticking out that goes into the side of the bobbin. Not friction only.

My bobbins are huge. Not like yours at all. I get about as much on my fishing reel Lol

Unless the pin is supposed to go in the slot on the bobbin. I just got this machine yesterday. I tried the slot on the Juki bobbin and it didn’t work either. Slot was too narrow. Go figure. I’m new to this stuff.

The hole in the Juki bobbin will not line up with the winding pin on the techsew machine. Same with the high lead and others. I’m sure they could be drilled a little closer to the center post of the bobbin but I would like to have the correct ones.

Well I guess it’s just the signal when I’m at the ranch. Tried from town this morning and the bobbin order went thru.

I’m by myself up here at the ranch. So I had to use the tractor loader to help get it in the shop, I wheeled it over in the corner for now I’ll build a spot that’s convenient for it this weekend. From 20 years of hand stitchin to this baby. I’m sure I’m gunna burn thru some practice leather but I’ve watched every video of a 441 class machine for over a year now. Searched the web till I had run out of vids. Hell I even know how to time it and do all the maintenance and tricks. Techsew 5100. It’s used but I stole it. A little more than half of what a new one would have cost me to get here. my local industrial dealer was getting a little tired of me dropping in and leaving empty handed. Stopped by on a whim and there she sat. I told the owner if he wanted to get rid of me !!! Make me a deal. He said he would go completely thru it and set it up for 277 on top and 207 in the bobbin. When I got there I tested it and man. Like butter thru 2 10 oz veg tanned. Imma happy camper. Drawer was full with the right needles oil 2 lbs of each thread. But. I only got 1 bobbin and techsews checkout won’t work for me. Juki, Hightec , and others won’t work. Help a brotha out. trying to add pics.

I need bobbins for my 5100 , but it says some addresses kinda stuff and won’t let me finish the order. I live in Texas but I don’t see where that could be a problem. Using PayPal might be it. I don’t know. Any other folks have issues. Regular 441 type won’t work because the hole is not correct. Even tried Juki, Hightec and others. I have 1 left. NEED Bobbins.

I’m Randall from Crockett Texas I’m new somewhat to this leather thing. I have always made sheaths for my custom knives and a gun belt or 2. But now at close to retirement age and lots of 6 shooters later I bought half a cow hide in 9-10 oz. I really never knew how big a dam cow was I guess . I guess I feel leather rich right now. Im not a novice at just about anything crafty but with anything new comes challenges. My first big challenge has been machines to stitch. I ain’t got that kind of money so I bought an awl. Fixed that problem Hu. Now I built this gun-belt 20 years ago when paw died for his old ruger flattop. I killed a water snake on that Father’s Day. It looked like a rattler but was harmless and needed to die anyway. I incorporated it into the belt and pretty much guessed my way thru the thing. Drilled all the 1/16 holes for the stitching with my drill press. Hand stitched it and it’s lasted 20 years. Its time for a new revised version now. I look forward to picking brains on here for technical info. It won’t let me post a pic yet I guess I’ll try and shrink the pic size if I can figure it out. Howdy y’all Randall
