Hi all, I have a couple of questions about getting parts for my Mitsubishi CU865. This is a machine that was sewing heavy felt filters before I got it and I am still trying to get it tuned to do an acceptable job with leather. If my research is correct, these are really designed more as a binding machine, so the bottom feed dog only goes back and forth? I really like the machine, though it was not my first choice, the price was right, it was local, and it has a programable servo and eps (which were on my "must have" list). My biggest issue right now is that the bottom feed dog has really aggressive teeth and it leaves tracks that are unacceptable for me. I understand that any machine will leave some tracks, but these leave actual teeth marks. I am looking for a smooth feed dog or a hack to reduce the marking. I have already loosened the presser foot tensions as much as I can. From what I can gather, this machine is very similar to a Pfaff 335 or some of the older necchi machines. I am having trouble finding parts for this model of machine. Will the pfaff 335 parts interchange for the most part, or is there a good source to get Mitsubishi parts in the US? Any help or tips are much appreciated! Thanks Andrew

Hi everyone! I am planning to buy a sewing machine for a small business that I will start preferably next year. The sewing machines that have been offered to me are the following: 1. Juki DU 141NH 2. Juki DU 1181N 3. Mitsubishi LY2-300 BOB The machine that I need must be able to handle medium to heavy materials (I’ll be using a combination of canvas fabric and leather), as I’ll be making bags (backpack, small pouches and totebags). Also, the machine must be user-friendly and if changes need to be done, the machine parts must be easy to source. Each of the machine is being offered to me at $650.00. So I really need guys your expertise and recommendations as I am very new to this thing so my money and first sewing machine will be worth it! Looking forward for your suggestions. Have a good day everyone!

I purchased a sewing machine for a price I couldn't pass up. However, I know nothing about this machine. Any identification related to manufacturer and model have been removed. Here is what I know.... Its a walking foot machine It has the same body/head design as a mitsubishi yu-360/330 and dy models (assessment of online images) It has a gigantic wheel. It was manufactured until the late 1980s Its serial number is 988038 I can't find much info online. Does anyone know what model this machine is? Or know who makes a similar clone? It sews fine now, but Id like to keep the info in my pocket incase it ever needs parts. Does anyone know where I might be able to find a manual?' You guys are awesome! Thanks

Hello all - I have a Durkopp Adler 767-FAS-573 equipped with a Mitsubishi Limiservo X B series control and motor. It has a Mitsubishi XC-CL-2 foot lever unit. Here’s what’s happening: i went to change the auto backtack from two stitches to three. The machine was working fine. I made the backtack change and the presser foot no longer lifts at the end of the stitch or with partial backtreadle (programmed to go needle down, presser up). Troubleshooting: At full back treadle it does the end backtack and the thread trim cycle and the presser foot lifts momentarily when the thread trims. Therefore I know the pneumatic valve for the presser foot lift is getting signal and actuating. I reassigned the partial back treadle to the backtack cycle and forward treadle to foot lift. Partial back treadle worked properly on the backtack cycle, full forward did nothing. So I know the foot switch isn’t faulty. I reassigned the functions to as before and they work with the exception of foot lift. I looked at the locked out functions. Foot lift is turned on. Should work. Doesn’t. I did a factory reset of the control. Foot lift still isn’t functioning. Everything else works. I sent the control to a company who specializes in Mitsubishi controls out of NC with this info. I think they just did a factory reset and shipped it back, but they confirmed that the control is functional, no burnouts on the board. Still no foot lift. clearly the backtack pattern is the issue... changed it back, still no presser foot lift. help...

Which machine is better for stitching 2 or 3 layers of 2mm thick vegetable tanned leather? Mitsubishi 340/ 350 or Juki 341n? Planning to make bags and wallets. Thanks!
