I have this motor mount for quite a while and I wanted to junk it but figured it could be a mount for a speed reducer. Shaft is 15mm. Holes on the mount are 16mm but I found a thin wall 16x15 tube in the scrap box. Works for me. Step pulley is from another machine and just put on for testing.

Motor mounts for sure differ. Just as and idea... ;)

Nice repurposing. I must check my old clutch motors.

Another ex clutch motor upcylcling thingy. This is the flange of a MORETTI clutch motor. It has two ZZ ball bearings with 15mm inner diameter so it works great for building a speed reducer.

Not that I need another speed reducer but why not keeping it for a future project. Could come handy one day. Maybe for a box type speed reducer or for mounting it directly onto a stand.

I wanted to cut cut it squared but ran out of cutting discs.

I finally used the above shown pats for making a box type speed reducer. I have used 15mm coated plywood. It still needs some work.

True. As Kafka said: Better to have, and not need, than to need, and not have. But this one actually goes on to a new setup.
