I had this beaver tail laying around that was meant to be used in a gunbelt somehow but it was just too small. So I made the wife a cigarette case out of it instead. 
 Really neet leather. Tough , durable, and cool texture. 
 So I vacuum formed it over a piece of wood I made the size of a pack of 100s. Used # 96 thread and a #24 diamond needle.

beautiful case i like that texture.

Worked in a prison for 30 years if I aint shiny every time I comment its no big deal, I just don't wave pompoms.

That's awesome. I am sure mama loved it.  Was it any more difficult to stitch than veg tan?

actually Pastor Bob i dont think the Techsew 5100 noticed any difference .lol
