New to the forum but longtime leather-smith, and just wanted to post a few recent projects. Looking forward to learning from everyone here.  Thanks!

Ha yeah I know. But I’m a dedicated handgun hunter and my eyes just don’t allow irons anymore. But I agree…there’s just something fundamentally wrong with it.

If you can't see irons anymore there isn't a thing wrong with it. I had one rigged up that way but after cataract removal the ability to use irons returned and I removed it. I just kill steel anymore and at fairly close range. If I hunted I would have left it in place.

By the way, you do excellent work.

I hear ya about the eyes and the only point of any  type of sight is to converge your eye and the bullet . I myself have put a red - dot on a lever action :o

Very nice work.

Would love to see how the chest holster attaches to the straps.

Thanks!

D-rings sewn into the holster and trigger snaps on the harness.  Let me know if this makes sense - it not, I'll post a pic up close.

Really nice work. One of the nicest chest rigs for a big iron I’ve seen.

Nice job on all of those projects you posted!  Please keep posting!

I especially liked the way you took care of the optic on that revolver!
