MikeRock Report post Posted August 16, 2023 (edited) Grampa, There is a company called Gesswein that makes a wide assortment of finishing stones. I use the 1/16"x1/2"x6" stones, in grits from 150 to 1,200. They sell all sorts of stones but these have served me for machine tool work for over 30 years. https://www.gesswein.com/abrasives/finishing-stones/gesswein-stones/gesswein-diemaker-stones/ Edited August 16, 2023 by MikeRock

YinTx Report post Posted October 2, 2023 I picked up one of these cheap jobbers on Amazon, seems to work pretty well, but you have to control your angle and pressure. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000BPASBK?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details After that, just polish up with a small fine stone if needed.
