I do some weird thinking and this one of the results of them.

I am going to try making a change purse that looks like this.

That is certainly a wild idea! But if you're able to pull it off, which I don't doubt you will be able to, it will be awesome!

I'm wanting to know is that a 3D carving or is this a an actual model made with leather???

That is a image i created to show what I was thinking.

it will be 3d-carved- in the outline shape.

If thaat looks bad the half circle with a border.

The change purse has a few problems to work out..

The test pattern was a tad to small, but it was still useable.

i found a perfect place for them. a space filler for the 

 over Sholder purse.
