Hardrada Report post Posted November 4, 2023 I went askew with the electric creaser when creasing a belt and was hoping the final length would be short of that blemish, but alas, it was within an inch of the tip. Is there a way to smooth out that blemish or make it disappear? I'd really not want to cut the billet any shorter. Thanks in advance for any helpful input. Bert03241 Report post Posted November 4, 2023 I would try wetting it then take something really smooth and go back and forth gently over the crease .

A double crease line possible?

As you can see, if I were to trim the end would be pretty much next to the hole—it'd probably look worse than the blemish: In non-raking light, it's not too obvious, but it's still there:
jcuk Report post Posted November 4, 2023 This may be of some use to you, maybe try it on piece of scrap first. I have not tried this myself but it looks like it may help. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-Pa41ZUDNs Hope this helps JCUK

I would bone slicker some pressure over the whole area and heavily redo the crease line as that should be able to pull the leather tighter into the groove area. Hardrada Report post Posted November 8, 2023 Thanks, mates. The bone folder and a recreasing did the trick.
