Purse for my wife

Recommended Posts

After building a great many holsters, mag pouches and sheaths I thought I would try my hand at a purse for my wife

Looks good. Nice work you do there. I Like the butterfly/flower print you used.

Thanks, it’s imprinted lambskin. Very very soft so I laminated it to some 1-2oz drum dyed veg tan

Thanks. I was wondering if that is what you did.

The butterfly/flower lambskin looks like a Tandy print.

It Will be a nice purse when all finished.

Well, that looks different. Saves having to do any stamping/carving.;)

It sure is a Tandy print. Liked it, figured I would give it a go

Sorry you don’t like it. I figure I would try something new and get away from my standard basket weave etc for a bit

Looks nice. Will follow to see what hardware and attachments you chose to compliment the design of the bag and pattern of the lambskin.

My apologies , but I actually thought it was upholstery fabric, so  love the design . Can't say I've ever seen that here in Oz. It'll be quite an attractive bag when  finished  :specool:

You misunderstand, I didn't say I don't like it, just that it saves a lot of work doing any decorations. It's actually quite clever using leather like that.

It looks pretty nice!
I did something similar for my mother. It was a nice change of pace to just cut and sew, without messing around with tooling and the like!

That's pretty interesting. It looks good. I didn't know it was available. Thanks for the eye-opener.

@Glocker21, @DJole, Pretty bags. A bit different, both, but that's nice.:)
