Working on a Pair of Berkenstocks for a friend who likes hummingbirds. She is the wife of our retired Pastor who still checks in.

Nice carving/tooling work WalterF! Looks Great. 

Did you freehand your hummingbird? Or is it a pattern from somebody?

Thank you, the hummingbird is from an image brought into Photoshop sized, cleaned up. and fit on a scan of the part. I am thinking of doing a video of the work flow as it opens up many possibilities.

Thanks. Yeah I photoshop images on my phone & change a few things to get a good trace off for leather carvings. Lol my only problem is I'm limited to the size of my tracings only using my phone. 

Nice work! I'm a sucker for hummingbirds.

That looks really nice Cant wait to see the final product!   Question what does one use for the soles?   Keep up the good work

Thank you, I reuse the bottoms/soles after cutting of the stock sides.
