JackPeter Report post Posted April 18 Hi, everyone! I’m looking to make a corset that someone would like in white. What are the most effective and efficient methods to getting the leather even? Is there a way to dye the leather? I had someone recommend diluting paint, like Angelus, spraying the leather first, then painting over it to get an even surface. Unfortunately, there isn't a white dye like there are for all the other colors available commercially that I am aware of. White Acrylic leather paint is your best option. If you can apply it with an airbrush all the better, as you can control the application over a large surface and its fairly quick compared to applying it by brush/sponge,etc Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Lol I knew nothing of leather when I bought that white leather for that pouch. I do know it wet formed good, cause I later made a phone case for another person.
