How about a link or some explanations of what you did? 1hp Posted October 21, 2024 Author Report Posted October 21, 2024 it is one like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/326258473298?_skw=bobbin+winder&itmmeta=01JAQKF50DSB1BMDAB33K5AE6W&hash=item4bf6853952:g:fjEAAOSwEFpmMF~R&itmprp=enc%3AAQAJAAAA0HoV3kP08IDx%2BKZ9MfhVJKmiOV2Dtfen4bbj%2FZEM989stGDqKzt%2F63vyM8AQSD137QgkXEXH3OqMFlVG815a71hIPxCrZHtGvCL3ZbRivUKq23UVr48lzUoBvGfZO6I0RQTM5C%2FIzQosRW%2BBTzgZGcPjcRTek%2BN71NkIQFFurFUguXwW0ELkykRXKTwE2MiOBnN1UqBVPi0Ib4w%2Bn6160tFDoRUlEqynWUCYxIVie5k5bH%2B7YAweitpsR4QckI5TCkdkc0kNhPvDx9MhdqFowik%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR6bQvPPVZA made a frame out of aluminum to hold the tensioner the same distance from spool as the one on the Cobra. tensioner was off the winder that came with my 206RB5. Members dikman Posted October 21, 2024 Members Report Posted October 21, 2024 Ooohhh, I'll have to get one, I've always wondered how many turns went on a bobbin! The counter aside, it does look a bit neater than my diy one. Quote Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500. Uwe Posted October 21, 2024 Report Posted October 21, 2024 Did you have to modify the winding post to make it fit the bobbin? Quote Uwe (pronounced "OOH-vuh" ) Links: Videos

Members Constabulary Posted October 22, 2024 Members Report Posted October 22, 2024 different thread size means different number of revolutions. Hmmm. I think I will stick with my DIY one that automatically stops when the bobbin is full no matter what thread size.
