Members Calidora Posted November 14, 2024 Author Members Report Posted November 14, 2024 Apparently I've reached the limit of attachments I can do for this post. I have other pictures but can't post them. Quote

I have other pictures but can't post them. There is no limit that I am aware of. I have seen posts/threads with many more attachments/photos than you have posted. You should reduce your file sizes further. 800 pixels in the longest dimension is quite adequate. Try again later. There may be something else at play here with the device and or browser or ISP you are using. Quote

Members dikman Posted November 14, 2024 Members Report Posted November 14, 2024 Glad it worked out for you. $300 for a post-bed machine is pretty good, particularly as they don't appear to be very common unlike flat-beds or cylinder arms. So expect to invest approx $50 or more in it for parts + some tinkering. Maybe new needle plate and feed dog and I´m not sure if the roller foot is ideal for your work. But you can convert that as well.... But it all takes parts, time and tinkering. What do I need to convert the needle bar? Quote
Members Calidora Posted November 16, 2024 Author Members Report Posted November 16, 2024 (edited) Let's try this again Nevermind. If it's ok I'll start another post when I have the machine up and running and add more pictures then. Edited November 16, 2024 by Calidora Still no attachments? Quote

Your machine is the 2nd type 51w and needs a 6.35mm needle bar as it was used in the Singer 111w triple feed machines. Like this one: https://www.ebay.com/itm/152426180931 But you have to shorten it. LW member @eddo has done this with his machine too: Quote ~ Keep "OLD CAST IRON" alive - it´s worth it ~ Machines in use: - Singer 111G156 - Singer 307G2 - Singer 29K71 - Singer 212G141 - Singer 45D91 - Singer 132K6 - Singer 108W20 - Singer 51WSV2 - Singer 143W2
