Members DelNeroDesigns Posted February 20, 2008 Members Report Posted February 20, 2008 (edited) I bought these tools on ebay.. I believe them to be Creasers for saddle making.. Most are from Paris circa mid 1800's. Does anyone out there use these types of tools? Edited February 20, 2008 by Johanna Quote

Members Spider Posted February 20, 2008 Members Report Posted February 20, 2008 Those there are some cool handles with metal something stuck to the front. LOL JK. I don't know neither. Quote
Contributing Member barra Posted February 20, 2008 Contributing Member Report Posted February 20, 2008 Can you take more close ups of the metal parts only. I am seeing how they could be creasers but the eye sight is not so good. Barra Quote
Members Kevin Posted February 20, 2008 Members Report Posted February 20, 2008 I can't quite see them all, but they are shoemaker's edge burnishers. I think for sole and heel edges. They have to be heated, which is why they're so massive(to retain heat). Kevin Quote
