IIRC, the first time I changed the handwheel and motor pulley it cost around £40 all in. One big taperlock pulley and one motor pulley plus belt. This is the machine I've recently listed for sale and as well as the extra torque it'll do one stitch at a time if I want. Quote

Would you be willing to share the file for your pulley? Definitely. Attaching here. The .stl file is probably what you need/want. The .f3d file is my original in Autodesk Fusion 360. The README is notes on printing it. By the way, the material I used is PETG. (It's tougher than PLA, and the creep issues are less than with PLA) pulley.f3d pulley.stl README.txt Quote friquant. Members Mattyj1907 Posted January 15 Members Report Posted January 15 Friquant, thank you so much!!! I am amazed with this 3d print world. So crazy to be able to just make a part that essentially doesn't exist (in my world anyway). Your file and instruction were very helpful, cranked one out in about 45 minutes. Quote

It took two months to get here, so I may see if I can make it work. About half of the servo motors I'm seeing for sale on amazon and ebay now come with this reduced size / tapered pulley, but I have not seen anybody selling small diameter replacement pulleys for them yet. Perhaps they think the servo motor controller will handle all the speed adjustments we need? 🙄 In the spirit of experimentation, I decided to print one. I'm not sure how long it will last. This is 3D (FDM) printed with PETG, which has better toughness than PLA or ABS. It's 35mm outer diameter. Would you share the cad for this pully? Quote
