Members skipj Posted March 15, 2007 Members Report Posted March 15, 2007 I was asked to post a picture of the holster I made it in a class I took at the SW leathercrafters show in Wickenburg AZ. I had asked for help in buying some tools required for the class and Johanna asked that I post a picture of the holster when it was finished. I did most of it. Some of the sewing was done buy the instructors: John Bianchi and Matt, his associate. We made them in 3 days. A great learning experience. Most of the other 11 students did some stamping to theirs. One sewed hers by hand. SkipJ Quote

cjbleather Posted March 16, 2007 Report Posted March 16, 2007 Skip, Just as a side bar question, did John B. ever use that fluid that he used to clean up the leather. If he did, do you know what it is? I believe he used it to clean up spill over from his edging. We saw this in his tape. Carl Quote
Moderator Art Posted March 16, 2007 Moderator Report Posted March 16, 2007 Give John a call, he is easy to talk to and maybe Jim will know also. My guess is Ethyl Acetate. Moderator Art Posted March 16, 2007 Moderator Report Posted March 16, 2007 Hi Regis, There are Tandy stores in Atlanta and Montgomery which I'm sure Jim Linnell hits in his travels. Also Jim Simmons does some holster classes I think at Hidecrafter in Ft. Worth. Art I live in USA and don't know of a class within a thousand miles of home. :book: Regis Quote For heaven's sakes pilgrim, make yourself a strop!
