This is my first attempt to post so I hope it goes through.

I'm just a hobbyist leather worker building western tack for family mostly. I would like to someday make money at it. I started Floral Carving a couple months ago to maybe sell. I don't want to put a price tag on shoddy work.

This is a small photo-album I made today and thought you all can help me with my carving and critique all that needs improvement.

I'm looking for honesty, not a kind word.

Thanks all,

Two Crow, for starts, welcome to the forum. Secondly, that's some very very nice work. You have the touch needed to be great. The contrasting colors of the flip over top with the main cover anlong with the white stitching, is simply beautiful.

Thanks for sharing.

Two Crow - That is a beautiful piece.

Honestly, its nice. I can't find anything wrong with it. The stitcing looks smooth and even, the basketweave looks straight, and the floral tooling appears nice and deep, smooth lines, no jagged edges, nice finish work.

Personally, I would aspire to this level of quality. Preferrably before I expire. I agree with the others. Very sellable. Go forth and prosper.
