I have a large laptop with a 17" Screen so I decided to make a bag to fit it. The bag 17"X 11.5"X 4"

I used 10oz vegtan for the front and back panels as well as the shoulder strap, 5oz for the center divider.

I played around a bit with the shoulder strap attachment points and came up with a different design than what I've seen before.

Very classy, I can see a lot of work (and leather!) went into it.

Machines wot I have - Singer 51W59; Singer 331K4; Seiko STH-8BLD; Pfaff 335; CB4500.

Chinese shoe patcher; Singer 201K (old hand crank)

That's a handsome bag with a nice finish.  I like the stitching, the handle, and how you attached the shoulder strap.
