Members DoubleKCustomLeathercraft Posted 2 hours ago Members Report Posted 2 hours ago I'm trying to figure out why my posts keep disappearing. I've asked a couple questions in the past week. First was trying to find out what style of carving was on a belt (I've resolved that on my own) and how to work with bridle leather. Specifically HO English bridle. Both posts disappeared within the day posted. Did I violate any rules here? I really doubt I did. It's been a little while since posting anything in Leatherworker.net only because I've been busy. And it's only a could months or so. I like this site, but if this continues to happen then I have zero reason to be here. I just want to know why? Quote

Post on the front page move down the list as new ones appear but are still in the sub Forum they were created in like a question related to a sewing machine would have been created in the Leather Sewing Machines sub forum but would also appear on the right side of the front forum page. As new topics appear it would move down the list and off the front page but be still listed in the Leather Sewing Machines sub forum. If someone posts a answer to your topic it would reappear on the front page of the forum and then move down the list once again. Your post: Questions on tooling English Bridle is still available in the "How do I do that?" sub forum on page 2 with one response from @TomE. kgg Quote Juki DNU - 1541S, Juki DU - 1181N, Singer 29K - 71(1949), Chinese Patcher (Tinkers Delight), Warlock TSC-441, Techsew 2750 Pro, Consew DCS-S4 Skiver

Moderator bruce johnson Posted 2 hours ago Moderator Report Posted 2 hours ago Sometimes I have noticed my own topics that I start do not show up in the side bar topic list right away even though they are in the forum and visible in that side bar for other viewers. I think I have noticed it more on my phone and iPad than on the computer but haven't really checked it further. Members DoubleKCustomLeathercraft Posted 1 hour ago Author Members Report Posted 1 hour ago Ok. I was checking through my account on activity and couldn't find anything. So I just assumed they disappeared. I'll have to remember to check the form categories I post in more thoroughly. Thanks Quote
AlZilla Posted 12 minutes ago Report Posted 12 minutes ago I scrolled back through your posts to last February and don't see anything hidden from view. I'm pretty sure if there was a problem requiring your posts to be removed, somebody would give you a heads up. BossLady runs a pretty amiable establishment here. Not to say a software kerfuffle couldn't cause a problem, but not likely. Members BlackDragon Posted 6 minutes ago Members Report Posted 6 minutes ago One thing I notice on my phone is that after I click on a post in the New Posts section and I go back to the New Post menu the link is gone. This doesn't happen on the website. Quote
Moderator Johanna Posted 4 minutes ago Moderator Report Posted 4 minutes ago I don't have all the forums and subforums set to show on the sidebar.
