Hardware help?

Working on a new project, and I ran into the ole "what's this thing called" hurdle.

Leather is going to be 1/2" wide, thickness to be determined on hardware if/when I can find this.

It's a "keeper" used for belts and straps, some are sold as part of a buckle set, others by themselves.  Rectangular "D" rings also work, but not very fancy.

Right. It also depends where you are, it's also called a "loop".
