Members DwightT Posted January 13 Members Report Posted January 13 My step-daughter asked for a case to hold her Tarot cards and a crystal. Here's what I came up with. Quote
AlZilla Posted January 14 Report Posted January 14 I like that wide basket carving/tooling. I've done it as sort of a tufted pillow motif. Members MarshalWill Posted January 19 Members Report Posted January 19 Looks really good. Your daughter should be very pleased with it. Quote
wizard of tragacanth Posted January 19 Report Posted January 19 Good work! You really captured the arcane vibe, with design, color and hardware. Quote Wisdom from an old Missouri farmer, my Grandpa: If it's not sharp, it's not a knife.
Members DwightT Posted Monday at 11:15 PM Author Members Report Posted Monday at 11:15 PM Thanks all. It was a fun project. It's always interesting trying to determine the proper sequence when putting something together: install hardware, attach liner, stitch some finish some edges, stitch some more, finish some more edges ... And invariably I typically manage to do some parts in the wrong order. I guess it just means that I need to do more so that I can stay in practice. Quote
