Members Casey Jordan Posted March 8, 2009 Members Report Posted March 8, 2009 Sometimes we get a request to do something a little different and unusual. Sometimes it can be a nightmare and sometimes it can be kinda cool to try it. This was one of those that was kinda fun. And to see if I could do it. I think it turned out pretty well. Quote

Crystal I wish I had heard it rattle and maybe it wouldn't have done this to me! Well it could have been the edger, but I'm not going to swear to it. Thanks everyone for the coments, it was a change of pace to do something different. Quote

Members Randahl Posted March 8, 2009 Members Report Posted March 8, 2009 What a great belt. Did you have a pattern or did you design it yourselt? Quote
Members Casey Jordan Posted March 8, 2009 Author Members Report Posted March 8, 2009 (edited) Ouch! Always knew those legless beasties were dangerous!Crystal You know it! I was headed to the shed for the shovel!!!!! But my wife stopped me......from.... crying like a little school girl and put a band-aid on it. (No offense to little school girls) Randahl - The pattern is in Al Stohlmans "Belts Galore" pattern book. All the instructions for this belt are near the back. It is all black and white so I just kinda winged it on the colors. I guess you could say I used the "SWAG" method. (sophicticated wild a** guess) Edited March 8, 2009 by Casey Jordan Quote

Contributing Member Jordan Posted March 8, 2009 Contributing Member Report Posted March 8, 2009 Great work, but as I have a supreme aversion to snakes I would not go near it with a 10 foot pole! Where's a shotgun when you need one! Quote
Members Casey Jordan Posted March 8, 2009 Author Members Report Posted March 8, 2009 Great work, but as I have a supreme aversion to snakes I would not go near it with a 10 foot pole! Where's a shotgun when you need one! If ya use a shotgun you will ruin the skin. Long story short My two sons and I were out playing paintball in the desert, heard snake rattle. Told my boys to only shoot him in the head so I could have the skin. But I think they heard - "just keep shooting him till ya run out of paint and the skin is all torn up!" (some peoples kids) Quote

I haven't used my airbrush in a while, but it turned out pretty good. I was thinking that something with a snake theme would look pretty cool on a bike. Maybe the grips or the edge of the seat? Quote

I would like to try it out on something else too, just don't know what yet. And Thanks to all you others who took the time to post, I appreciate it! Quote
