rustyriggin Report post Posted June 22, 2009 I'm not sure exactly what your looking for, but the pattern I use is 7 1/8 X 7 3/8, and I just use Tandy's Roper wallet interior. It's part number is 4012- Whatever color you want. Hope that answers your question.
jbird Report post Posted June 22, 2009 Ok not sure what you need a insert or a carving pattern but if you want high end I don't suggest a Tandy insert I hate those inserts they are not well made IMHO chalyor has the best inserts Josh
lhbpires Report post Posted June 23, 2009 I´m looking for a how to make instructions, specialy the inside. I don´t know if it´s called pattern or template.
rustyriggin Report post Posted June 23, 2009 When it comes to the interior of a roper wallet, I suggest buying it already made, they are a major pain, even more if you never done it. Just my .

MarkB Report post Posted June 23, 2009 I´m looking for a how to make instructions, especially the inside. I don´t know if it´s called pattern or template. For a high end liner that is pre-made I would go with a Chaylor-Fenneli liner. You can order them from Hitching Post Supply at 1-800-689-9971 or their web site is www.hitchingpostsupply.com I think. Here is a photo of a liner that I used on a check book cover. I hope this helps. Mark

lhbpires Report post Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) Ok friends, I agree that a pre made inside is the better way to do it, but there´s just a little problem, I live in Brasil and for me it´s not that easy to buy this pre made stuff. I´m looking for this pattern just because I would like to try to make a roper wallet my self, not for a costumer but for me. I already by somethings in TLF, but the shipping makes it a little expencive. If I could made it myself it´ll become more interesting. 2MadJacks Report post Posted June 24, 2009 Since you live in brasil and shipping is high for you to order. I would suggest buying a wall that you like and rob the inner parts for your own build.

chataw Report post Posted July 3, 2009 ok fine but i think its better to do with photo step by step the easy model i mean the classic stuff , any way in general inside the wallet you have tow thing cards place and frame or ID place ( some times you dont need ID ) thats mean you have tow places for cards first you need to form the pockets for cards then fix them in the ( inside leather ) the pockets could be vertical or horezental , vertical is more easy for you here is drowing with sizes this sizes can be adjested accourdingly to fit your corrency this wallet drowing contain three layers if you want tow only the outer one should be 0.5 cm more in weidth (((( sory for my poor english ok )))))) in lingth the deffrences are important cos when you bendt the wallet with some paper mony inside it should bend nice and easy not sqwees to be contenue

greeceuz Report post Posted August 15, 2014 http://leatherworker.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=17474&page=2#entry114747 The problem is that i am a newby in leatherworking. And i cannot understand how to make these pockets as on photo of Chataw Can you help and explain that? Thank you
TXAG Report post Posted August 15, 2014 Yeah, all you have to do is sew along the bottom of each pocket onto the layer behind it. If you're very new, I definitely would NOT recommend starting with a wallet until you master some of the techniques needed to make one on some easier projects first.
