I made this camel years ago for my wife when she was collecting these hump-backed critters. This one is made of carved redwood parts covered in deerskin (nice and stretchy) and glued, screwed and nailed together. Icelandic sheep fur is the long hair. The colors have faded a bit over time. He stands 18" tall and is 17" long.

I never thought of a camel as 'cute' before! I love him! Especially his feet, although I'm not sure why.

Have you ever made Marionettes? If not, I bet they'd be amazing!
