Color on the coasters ? I dyed the background "dk cocoa brown" then just used gel antique "tan". Pretty simple really and fast.

You know, I've never tried antiquing a project. You've just inspired me to try! Thanks for the tip. wave.gif

I love what you did with your helmet Freak! Can I send you mine???? But if you made it look like that, I'd wanna just hang it on my wall instead of use it.

Awesome work, love the colours.

I don't weld but one on the wall might be nice.

Thanks all for the kind words!!! It was a really fun project to do. One i've had in my head for a couple of years now. It came out pretty much like the vision i had for a first. If i do another it's gonna go just a little more to it, IF. We'll see i guess. lol

I like using the antique for the main color. It's easy to apply and covers very equal.

It takes more then one freak to have a true freakshow. So take a seat , the show is about to start.

Check out the freakSHOW

LOVE how the helmet turned out! I really like the coasters too. I've not done much with dye at all, but seeing how your helmet turned out makes me wanna give it a go!

thanks so much for sharing and keep 'em coming!
