Ambassador abn Posted January 10, 2010 Ambassador Report Posted January 10, 2010 Color on the coasters ? I dyed the background "dk cocoa brown" then just used gel antique "tan". Pretty simple really and fast. You know, I've never tried antiquing a project. You've just inspired me to try! Thanks for the tip. Quote
Contributing Member ClayB Posted January 10, 2010 Contributing Member Report Posted January 10, 2010 I love what you did with your helmet Freak! Can I send you mine???? But if you made it look like that, I'd wanna just hang it on my wall instead of use it. Quote ClayB Badlands Leather Art blog Badlands Leather Art Website

Ambassador freak Posted January 10, 2010 Author Ambassador Report Posted January 10, 2010 Thanks all for the kind words!!! It was a really fun project to do. One i've had in my head for a couple of years now. It came out pretty much like the vision i had for a first. If i do another it's gonna go just a little more to it, IF. We'll see i guess. lol You know, I've never tried antiquing a project. You've just inspired me to try! Thanks for the tip. I like using the antique for the main color. It's easy to apply and covers very equal. Quote It takes more then one freak to have a true freakshow. So take a seat , the show is about to start. Check out the freakSHOW
