Howdy Ya'll

Just thought I would post a pair of bull riding chaps I finished today. The customer wanted basket weave, I gave him crazy arrows basket weave.

Happy tooling

Hey Tim,

First off, they look pretty dang shiney. I have a coouple suggestions that you may or may not want to take into consideration. I would like the rise (or drop) from crotch to top of waist a little shorter so that the top seam on the inside thigh is closer to the crotch. And then on your buckle tabs, I rivet them on because of the fact that there is a great chance they will need to be replaced. As well I make the inside thigh where the buckles attach narrower from top to bottom on my bullriding chaps so that the guys can fold them back easier in the chute. Other than that, keep knocking them out!

Thanks for the insight. I'm always looking for tips to improve. The shiney leather, was what the guys at Hide House recommended. I make more work chaps / chinks than bull chaps.

Really nice work on these. I would have to say the something as Elton. They rap around the leg a little to much from the knee down I think. I have not made any rodeo chaps all working chaps here but have seen a lot of them. Nice work on them Tim keep it up.
